Shipping Your Quilt

Prior to shipping your quilt, we will discuss the work to be done, give you an estimate of the cost, and tell you the amount of the deposit that will be required to begin work on your quilt. You can include a check for your deposit with your order form. Checks should be made out to Cabin Country Quilting. We will also confirm the estimated completion date with you at that time.

Please print our Order Form, fill it out as completely as possible, and include it with your quilt

Ship your quilt by USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Priority mail with a Delivery Confirmation a good choice for peace of mind. Insure your quilt for what you feel is the full value and fill in this amount on our Order Form. We'll insure it for the same amount when we return it and charge you accordingly.

Address your shipment to:

      Karen Azevedo

      7810 Walden Circle

      Fort Collins, CO 80528

We prefer that you address it this way to keep anyone from knowing what is in the box. Quilts have disappeared, and you wouldn't want to lose your beautiful quilt top.

Please put your quilt in a plastic bag inside your shipping box to protect it from any possibility of water damage during shipment. You never know when the box will sit on a dock somewhere in the rain.

When we receive your quilt we will inspect it for squareness, loose threads or seams, and verify that the style of quilting and thread colors we have discussed will be appropriate for the quilt.

We reserve the right to refuse to use the batting or backing you have supplied if it is inappropriate, of such poor quality as to guarantee a poor result, is improperly sized, or if we feel, for whatever reason, that using it will create a poor result.

You will be notified when your quilt is completed and we'll tell you the amount of the balance due at that time. Upon receipt of the balance due your quilt will be returned by USPS Priority Mail. We will calculate the actual charges, including insurance, and figure that amount into your final balance.
